The Connecticut Data Collaborative is a public-private partnership working to increase the quality and accessibility of up-to-date, relevant data needed to inform effective planning and policy. Visit CTData.org for more information.

The availability and effective use of data are more important than ever as government and private philanthropy and the public at large demand measureable results from their investments.
Good data contribute to better public policy decisions, increased efficiency, improved programs and services and greater engagement by residents with their public leaders. Where is Connecticut in this picture? What can we do across levels of government and through public-private partnerships to address this critical need?

Join us for a day of intensive discussion and networking to learn more about improved access to data for Policy, Planning and Accountability including:

  • A panel of Connecticut’s private and public sector leaders on the state of data access and use to guide policy and planning in our state
  • An overview of the work of the Connecticut Data Collaborative to address data access, quality and standards
  • Interactive breakout sessions on the new CTData.org and CT Nonprofit Strategy Platform, data privacy, using indicators to drive community change, and telling your story with data
  • An opportunity to network with other data users and data generators interested in improved data access and quality
