Parent's Day

Instead of celebrating Mother's Day or Father's Day at Ecole Bilingue, we like to celebrate Parent's Day and celebrate all parents.  This year, Parent's Day falls on June 01, 2012.  Each one of our students is working on a project to give to their parents.  Be looking for something your child has put a lot of love into to be coming home at the beginning of June!
Remercier, Apprécier

To Thank, To Appreciate

Teacher Appreciation week will be May 28th through June 1st!  You will be receiving a break down of the week in your child's folder soon.  If you would like to volunteer to help out for part of the week or for the entire week, please let us know.  For more details, please refer to the APPEL minutes.
Bon Voyage
This Sunday, May 06, 2012, our CM2 and 6ème (5th and 6th) graders will be going to France for two weeks.  Our students will be experiencing the culture and traditions of France while visiting many wonderful and interesting sites in Avignon, Marseille, and Paris, all while being immersed in the French language!  What a precious gift for the students of Ecole Bilingue!

The More the Merrier!

June 01, 2012 - 6 P.M. at General Pershing

It is that time of year again, the night we all wait for with excited anticipation...the End of the School Year Picnic!!!!  We are so excited to have this event every year, and give families the opportunity to set up summer play dates and catch up after such a busy year.  You will have the opportunity to meet some of our new families that will be with us next year, talk to the teachers before they fly off to France, and share in the spirit of our school, the Joie de Vivre!

This is a picnic in the broadest sense of the word.  Everyone comes (casually dressed) with plenty of food to share.  There will be a bar-be-cue pit available to cook meat on.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Shhhh...Testing in Progress

Congratulations to all of our CE2, CM1, CM2, and 6ème classes (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders) for making it through the ERB's!  We really would like to thank everyone for coming to school on time and not having any absences during this very important week!  We are looking forward to receiving the test results soon to see how our students compare to their private school, American counterparts!

From May 21st trough May 25th, our CE1 and CM2 classes (2nd and 5th graders) will be taking the French Evaluation!  This is also a very important exam, so please make sure that your children arrive to school on time, not miss any days (if at all possible), eat healthy, and go to bed at an appropriate time.  We want everyone to do their best!

Student Spotlight

A few weeks ago, there was a really lovely article in the paper about our very own Chloe Papai.  Please take a moment to read about Chloe.  I promise, you will not regret it!
