Each month the NN4D News highlights an app currently available in the NAVTEQ App Warehouse. The featured app this month is "Where's My Lunch?" by Eric Fisher.
The NAVTEQ App Warehouse is a free matchmaking portal that offers free business development and marketing services on a larger scale. The portal is designed to introduce developers of location-based apps to commercial buyers, such as handset manufacturers and network operators, and will formalize NN4D's co-marketing efforts.
App of the Month: "Where's My Lunch?"
"Where’s My Lunch?" enables users to find the nearest restaurant to their current location and route there by either car or pedestrian route. "Where’s My Lunch?" utilizes NAVTEQ’s road network data, points of interest data, and optionally, NAVTEQ Traffic™. The application uses the geolocation API available in all modern Web browsers.
